Attach an oil pressure gauge easily onto the 1/8” NPT access for diagnostics! This same NPT port allows the use of our very own DIY Kit Wired Oil Pressure Gauge In-Cabin Oil Pressure Gauge or the adaptability of aftermarket universal oil pressure senders. Not compatible with the dome Oil Filter Cover in the SLK chassis.
Gauge Install Instructions for Diagnostic Use (Included)
Ensure NPT female threads on Billet Oil Cap are clean once the hex plug is removed. Install billet oil cap into housing without pressure gauge and using the hex head, tighten to spec (25 Nm).
Install the oil pressure gauge with thread sealant (automotive grade) as directed and twist onto billet cap tightening up to two turns from finger tight. Check for leaks with engine up to temperature. Removal process is opposite of install.
Over-tightening of hex plug on port access may damage the anodized housing.

We’ve made the correct banjo and heat and tear resistant hose (Oil Housing Tap) to allow an oil pressure sender tap onto the oil filter housing CLEANLY! Makes for an easy convenient and affordable install! Professional grade crimp on fittings create a permanent leak proof seal! Compatible with our very own Oil Pressure Gauge System!

An optional corrosion and vibration resistant liquid-filled and serviceable with glycerin can be selected as a permanent engine bay monitoring system. (+$75.00)
To INSTALL: Ensure NPT female threads on Billet Oil Cap are clean once the hex plug is removed. Install billet oil cap into housing with hex plug removed to 25Nm. Apply automotive grade thread sealant (high temp) on Glycerin Filled Pressure Gauge and allow to set as directed.
The Oil Filter Cover can be removed and reinstalled with the Glycerin Filled Pressure Gauge using an adjustable spanner wrench until full stop resistance is felt (which is usually 25 Nm). There is no need to remove and re-seal the Glycerin-Filled Pressure Gauge once installed in this manner.
